Google Analytics Now Incorporates Webmaster Tools

Following a trial to allow people to view Webmaster Tools search data in Google Analytics, Google has announced that the data will now be available to all Analytics accounts.

By linking Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics, marketers will now be able to access a Webmaster Tools section from their Analytics dashboard.  The Webmaster Tools data will be represented in three reports in a section called Search Engine Optimization which can be found under Traffic Sources.  Specifically, the three reports are:

(1) Queries: which gives data on the top 1000 daily queries.

(2) Landing Pages: which gives data for the top 1000 daily landing pages.

(3) Geographical Summary: provides country specific click data.

Detailed information about how to link Webmaster Tools and Google analytics is available on the Google Analytics website.
