Google Analytics Real-Time Reporting: See What’s Happening On Your Site Right Now

Google has just launched a set of reports in Google Analytics that allow you to see what is happening on your site in real-time. The reports, called Google Analytics Real-Time reports, are available to account administrators in the new version of Google Analytics and are currently located under the Dashboard tab (this location will change in the near future). Real-time reports do not support profile filters.
These reports could prove invaluable in a number of areas. For example, they could be used to quickly determine if tracking codes have been correctly implemented on your site. You can also measure the instantaneous impact of any announcements about your site on social media sites such as Twitter.
Google Analytics Real-Time reports are being rolled out gradually and should be available to everyone in the next few weeks.
